What if we give back a medium of expression to nature? This question was answered by various works, such by ‘Brio’ – an innovative nondisruptive creative process where plastic-eating insects like mealworms and morio worms repurpose waste. Through this collaboration with insects, Arnaud Tantet transforms discarded materials into stunning designs. His creations include a vase made from polystyrene foam once used by the Louvre to transport artworks, and a series of knives crafted for a Parisian gourmet restaurant that explores insect consumption. These unique objects, cast in Jesmonite and Aluminium, challenge how we perceive insects and highlight their importance in sustainable design.
