Zorana is a living willow sculpture that embodies the dawn of a new relationship between humanity and nature in our cities. Constructed from willows donated by Landschap Noord Holland, this project invites viewers into a playful, dynamic interaction with the natural world. In a world where our urban landscapes are increasingly disconnected from nature, Zorana opens up a conversation about how we can do things differently. It invites people to envision a future where shared urban spaces are integrated with living ecosystems, rather than being confined to sterile, concrete environments. Our physical environment shapes our social interactions—by transforming urban infrastructure into something more alive and regenerative, we also transform how communities engage, connect, and take responsibility of our shared spaces.
