Monique creates objects from natural and recycled materials, using slow, manual craft techniques.  With her works she reflects on the organic growth of lichen and fungi, highlighting the beauty of coexistence and interconnected ecosystems. These pieces look similar to clusters of these organisms, drawing on natural processes to show the power of mutual dependence in the world around us.
