Unwinding tree trunk: redundancy of sculpture

In this video work, the surface of a tree trunk is captured through a rotating motion, revealing every visible detail of the tree. To enable the moving image, a spiral construction was needed, built around the tree trunk. The construction functions both as a sculpture and an instrument.
