Cubcho: Empowering children to shape their own play

Viktoriya is a designer focused on hands on learning and sustainable tools for younger generations. With Cubcho, a mechanical press made from wood and stainless steel becomes a gateway for children to turn old paper into strong, reusable building blocks. Using only water, paper and natural materials, children are invited to take part in the full process of making their own toys. Beyond the objects they create, the project fosters skills, confidence and a deeper respect for reuse, material cycles and creativity rooted in care. As an alternative to short lived plastic toys, Cubcho encourages a new kind of play, where imagination is shaped by responsibility and joy is built with your own hands.
