As cage farming continues to decline worldwide, this project proposes a welfare centered space that supports chickens’ natural behaviors. Through features such as perches at various heights, hiding spots, organic curves, dust bathing zones, and multiple feeding areas, the space encourages free exploration and rest. A portion of the structure was installed and tested in a real farm setting, confirming its potential to reduce stress, enhance safety, and provide environmental stimulation through structural diversity.
