The exhibition ‘Stitching a Forest of Hope’ is a collaboration between Zurciendo el Planeta and BioArt Laboratories, bringing together art, sustainability, and collective action. Featuring nearly 200 textile artworks depicting trees and animals, the exhibition showcases creations made through a process of collective ARTivism.
Each artwork has been crafted from reclaimed textiles, celebrating shared craftsmanship and community collaboration. Together, the works form a powerful statement against the unsustainable realities of fast fashion, demonstrating how discarded materials can be transformed into meaningful art.
More importantly, the exhibition shows how collective creativity can bring people together around a shared purpose. It reminds us that meaningful change begins with people themselves—through collaboration, care, and the willingness to take action together.
