Jennifer is interested in natural materials and the possibilities they offer. In Without a Trace, she creates a temporary floating memorial as a symbolic gesture of remembrance and letting go. Made from plant-based materials and natural structures, the memorial initially floats on the water. As it absorbs water, it slowly sinks and begins to decompose, gradually returning to nature. The work reflects on impermanence and the gentle process of letting go — allowing remembrance to exist for a moment before becoming part of the natural cycle once again.

Part of Reclaimed Botanical Art: A language of the first generation botanical artists. A collective of 5 artists who are rediscovering botanical art. Traditionally rooted in the interplay between science and aesthetics, botanical art has long documented and celebrated plant life, In their research and design, they approach the plant as a source, teacher, and companion, responding to ecological, societal, and cultural circumstances.
