Thermae is a terracotta tabletop heater inspired by Roman bathhouses, designed to encourage community through warmth during winter. Using candles, it radiates heat through the terracotta dome and hand warmers, encouraging closeness and conversation. Rooted in the principle of “heating people, not spaces,” Thermae reimagines ancient technology for a shared social ritual, blending history and modern design for today’s communal spaces.
