BAD Award Matchmaking Day

Last Friday, the 2022 BAD Awards matchmaking event happened at MU Hybrid Art House in the impressive Evoluon building. It was an exciting day! Sixteen groups of artists and designers pitched their project proposals, hoping to find the right research group to collaborate with. Participants came from all over, including the UK, Germany, Taiwan, China, and Sweden. The ideas presented were inventive, connecting art and design with technology and science and offering fresh perspectives on symbiotic relationships and co-living strategies. After the pitches, a matchmaking session took place where artists and researchers explored potential collaborations. The teams have been formed and will submit joint proposals by May 17.
