“How can we reimagine production processes using sustainable materials?” Chandni Batra, a designer and material developer, explores this question with ‘A Blunt Story’. Her project, rooted in India, investigates the use of plant-based and recycled materials, challenging the norms of mass production and fossil fuel dependency. The project presents an alternative narrative in material use, challenging entrenched systems and offering a radical reimagining of materials for sandal production.
