This exhibit at the Klokgebouw depicted the petrified urban environment and was part of the collaboration project KIEM vergroenen at the Dutch Design Week 2022. By adopting one of the selected species of the so-called ‘small five’, which were neighbourhood-specific and database driven, residents could adjust their contribution to greening and a healthy environment accordingly. From the private gardens, represented in this closed biosphere, the species can spread from here and make the city greener and healthier.
