By touching a special gel in a petri dish and having a chat you could contribute to the artwork of GLOW 2022; Collecting Cultures. Within the project Collecting Cultures,the diverse microscopic cultures living on our skins were documented. The project shines light on the differences between cultures, and how your diet, heritage, behavior, and lifestyle all influence the microbes you bring along. These cultures were then cultivated to reveal an invisible world of fungi and bacteria that live on our skin to create a beautiful artwork for the renowned light festival GLOW, together with all residents in Eindhoven.
