Students from Fontys – Trend Research & Concept Creation start their school year with a kick-off meeting at BioArt Laboratories! As part of the long-term project of Collecting Cultures, the students research how microbes are part of our lifestyles and affect our attitude and behaviour towards this invisible world. Questions that are explored: what will the future of the human micro-culture ecosystem be when we can control more of it through technology and innovation? And how can we use this expertise to improve the quality of life for everone? Through co-creation with artists and the citizens of Eindhoven for the GLOW festival 2022, we explore new concepts that uses the microbiological world to connect people.
