Working across media, from sculpture to video installation, Elina’s artistic practice has bridged together parallels, forming ongoing discussions between the natural and the socio-political. She has been reflecting on everyday matters through an inside approach off bees and their culture.

Elina’s work is now expanding and exploring a design-based attitude, where her practice can have an impact further than conceptual ideas and rather on reality. Moving forward into forming eco-conscious projects, using as tools different natural resources -as the main beeswax- scientific research, and collaborating with professionals she wants to shape and impact the world we live in.

The artist has showcased her work in various exhibitions as in TAC Eindhoven, Kunstpodium T Tilburg, Surface Gallery Nottingham,United Kingdom. She is currently attending the MA in Contextual Design, Design Academy Eindhoven while previously completed a BA in Fine Arts (Honours) in Nottingham Trent University, United Kingdom.

Elina has been awarded a prize for the short-film competition Harvest Film Festival with ‘The brightest migrants’ and published her work ‘Precarity’ Rising Issue Magazine.
