Santa may be warm and jolly, but he is certainly not green. During Christmas, consumption is central, and much like Santa, carbon emissions go through the roof. Christmas is a time when we take care of each other and show empathy. But through our rituals, do we extend that same level of care and empathy to the larger ecosystem?
