This year the first edition of InScience, a Dutch International Science Film Festival, took place. The festival welcomed 6.000 visitors, including 100 (inter)national professionals from the film industry and scientific world.
For five days people enjoyed films about science, debates, experiments, DIY Labs and art at the premier edition of InScience festival in Nijmegen.
Science and art are different ways of looking at our reality. However, both need creativity, curiosity and original ideas to provide the audience with new insights. That was also what BioArt Laboratories did. During the InScience festival BioArt Laboratories presented the inspiring story of the bulletproof skin based on spider silk.
