Lauren’s work is a contemporary “cabinet of curiosities” that is composed of diverse materials, mostly sourced from BioArt Laboratories. Created during a period of change and reorientation, it reflects both the raw, unpredictable dynamics of nature and our desire to organize and control them. By highlighting patterns of time, repetition, and variation, the installation reveals an underlying network of connections that runs through the work like a rhizome network.
