Maja Góralczyk’s project addresses the problem of the ecological consequences of tourism for seaside towns. Focused on the incidental abandonment of plastic accessories, these prototypes are made from biocomposite material such as various shells and gelatin. When left behind, it decomposes on the shore without negative effects on the coastal ecosystem, exemplifying closed -loop design.
