Mathilde Hijink’s work ‘Remember’ is about connecting with each other, wanting and seeing the connection, changing, innovating and sometimes suffering pain. The branch of a tree, followed by a clay arm with pieces of potato peels turned into paper on it, represents the artist’s roots as a daughter of a potatofarmer who taught her the love of nature and the passing of time.
