Scientist in training Shaad Muhammad Ahmad surrounds himself with everything he finds inspiring. With a special passion for the small living creatures and all of their properties, he is now looking at how to deploy these properties into designing an aesthetically pleasing installation. In his world, bacteria and other microbes are far from insignificant, let alone a nuisance.

For the Dutch Design Week he aimed to convince the public of this as well. So for the Talent Pressure Cooker, Shaad has been looking at how to deploy the properties of microbes into designing an aesthetically pleasing installation, this time working with Bioluminescent Bacteria.
